Czech land is nice not only Prague. In the Republic, you can find a lot of other interesting places. In this post I'll show three with scattered cities: Mikulov - one of the wine places in the Czech Republic, the town Štramberk with confectionery shpetsialitetom and infinitely beautiful views and Novy-Jicin - cute town hats.
The first town - Mikulov (Czech Mikulov, it Nikolsburg..). It is located in the southeast of the Czech Republic near the Austrian border.
Our guide around the city called it magic.
It becomes even more magical after drinking burčák. Burchak - is fermented grape juice, an intermediate product in the early stages of wine production. Made usually of white grades contain about 5% alcohol.
As the town of Mikulov and surroundings belongs to one of the largest wine regions, wine is a center in Moravia, here is celebrated in grand style vintage. This occurs in September.
Mikulov is also famous for the numerous Jewish community.
On the wine tasting I will tell one of the following entries. This photo from the cellar Mikulov castle (Dietrichstein lock it. Schloss Mikulov). Here it is located the biggest wine barrel (tank) in Central Europe.
There is also a small museum.
Between the cities of Brno (second largest city in the Czech Republic) and Ostrava passed Slavkov u Brna (former name - Austerlitz), a place where in 1805 took place on "Battle of the Three Emperors" - Napoleon I, Francis II and Alexander I. The battle of Austerlitz It ended with the defeat of Russia and Austria, as well as the elimination of the third anti-Napoleonic coalition.
The second town - Štramberk (Czech Štramberk.). I remembered for three things: a local confection "Shtramberkskimi ears," tower "pipe" and the magnificent views of the city.
It is home to less than 3 500 000 people. We met with the mayor.
Number confectionery "factories" (garage) in which is made shtrambergskoe treat, can be counted on the fingers. One of them:
Here they are - Shtramberkskie ears.
The tower "pipe" remained the citadel Shtrallenberg.
His final appearance acquired at the beginning of the twentieth century, thanks to the architect Kamil Hilbert.
Opening types (360 gr.) With a viewing platform on the tower:
third town - Nova-Ichin (Czech Nový_Jičín, Novi Jicin.). As Štramberk, Novy-Jicin is located in the Moravian-Silesian Region of the Czech Republic.
From the 16th century, there is conducted the production of hats.
In the center of town is the area of the square, flanked by old houses of different styles.
At the end of several photos taken from the bell tower of the building of the city administration.
To get to this area is possible only through the rooms and corridors rathauza.
These are the three with scattered Czech city.
