The basic principles of Krav Maga
Krav Maga is a tactical, mixed martial arts. The main task of the fighter trainers initially set efficiency: to neutralize the threat you need as quickly as possible. This common goal and regulates all the other principles of Krav Maga - no etiquette in relation to the enemy and, of course, no entertainment, only the functionality.
Keep it simple - that's what they say novice instructors, affirming words with actions. No Kata and others familiar oriental martial arts castings. Only blocks, sharp blows, a short but very effective bundles, aimed at the defeat of the most vulnerable parts of the human body. In addition, Krav Maga was developed in such a way that a beginner could as soon as possible to apply the learning by doing: literacy instructors actually achieve these results in just a few weeks.
Focus on vulnerable parts of the body
The main principle of Krav Maga - focusing on the vulnerable points of the enemy. Many involve counter punches to the throat, eyes and groin. Not a man? So what. But, you are guaranteed to come out of the battle victorious, or at least, get a time out, to withdraw from the field as quickly as possible. Krav Maga has only one purpose: a man using it to survive - and the point.
Krav Maga and weapons
In fact, Krav Maga means easy integration with any weapon in action. Firearms or cold - it does not matter who has been training Krav Maga athlete begins to be able to use all everything that comes their way. This allows trainees as expeditiously as possible, almost without thinking, to respond to unexpected attack. Keys, sunglasses, belts and chairs can be used to shock or completely neutralize the enemy.
Defense and attack
Many martial arts use the time between the individual offensive and defensive movements. The disadvantage of this approach is that if the opponent will be faster and better prepared you (and so often happens in the real world), all your actions will be reduced to a continuous attempt to shield vulnerable parts of the body. Krav Maga also involves a combination of offensive and defensive movements: a fighter not only disrupts the attack of the enemy, but also counter-attacks at the same time. The purpose, again, only one - as soon as possible to neutralize the adversary.
