The first meeting of the rainbow tribes took place in 1972 in Colorado, it was attended by over 20 thousand people. It was assumed that the meeting will not be the mass - a small group of people should gather for four days in a remote wild place, to meditate and to pray for peace. But now such meetings are held several times a year around the world, usually in the 20-30 km away from any city.
